What you'll do
- Build trusted relationships with CTOs and VP-level engineering leaders to help them navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape and make informed adoption decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Field Engineers to design enterprise-wide AI adoption strategies that address high-level organizational challenges and long-term technical direction.
- Translate customer insights and high-level challenges into actionable feedback for Cursor's internal product and go-to-market teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead architectural conversations evaluating Cursor at a systems level across diverse technology stacks and varying enterprise infrastructure configurations.
- Frame complex AI integration problems for enterprise customers without getting bogged down in hands-on implementation details or specific coding tasks.
- Serve as the primary external voice of the customer, representing their needs, strategic priorities, and technical challenges back to internal teams.
- Tailor technical narratives and evaluation frameworks to match the specific engineering culture and infrastructure of each customer organization effectively.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and Cursor's product roadmap across all stages of the engagement.
- Identify opportunities for expanding Cursor's adoption within large engineering organizations through strategic relationship building and value demonstration.

Requirements
- Prior experience as an engineering leader, principal architect, or platform leader in complex organizations is typically required for this position.

- Strong familiarity with AI and large language model tooling and their practical applications in software development environments.
