About the role
CUBE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering team in Bangalore. This role involves designing and developing backend services and modern frontend applications. You will contribute to distributed systems, cloud-native services, and high-volume data processing. The position requires a hands-on approach to building scalable and resilient solutions that meet complex business demands. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. This role demands ownership of the full development lifecycle from conception to deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability across the stack. Your work will directly influence the architecture and direction of core products.

What you'll do
Design and develop robust backend services using .NET / C# to handle high-volume data processing and business logic.
Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on Azure, leveraging managed services for scalability and reliability.
Build modern frontend applications with Angular, focusing on responsive design and seamless user interactions.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that enable efficient communication between frontend and backend systems.
Implement and optimize data access layers with NoSQL databases to ensure fast and reliable data retrieval.
Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including deployments on AKS.
Establish and refine CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps to automate testing and deployment workflows.
Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems by analyzing logs, traces, and performance metrics.
Optimize application performance through careful analysis of rendering, network latency, and system bottlenecks.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine user stories and deliver high-quality software increments.
Apply strong networking principles to solve problems related to traffic flow, load balancing, and secure communication.
Participate in code reviews and share knowledge to uphold engineering standards and best practices across the team.
Design systems with security in mind, paying attention to authentication flows, session management, and data protection.
Monitor production environments and contribute to incident response and resolution as part of on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
You must possess a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or similar senior development roles.
You must demonstrate strong hands-on experience with .NET / C# as a primary development language.
You must have strong experience working with Angular for frontend application development.
You must show good working knowledge of Node.js, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
You must have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and SCSS for building structured and styled interfaces.
You must possess strong experience with Azure cloud services and related offerings.
You must have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS for container orchestration.
You must have experience with Azure DevOps and implementing robust CI/CD pipeline strategies.
You must show a strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and scalable system design patterns.
You must have excellent debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills in complex scenarios.
You must have deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, sessions, cookies, headers, and authentication flows.
You must understand website rendering, DOM structure, JavaScript execution, and the page lifecycle in detail.
You must have strong networking knowledge including DNS, SSL/TLS, caching, load balancing, and reverse proxies.
You must be comfortable navigating and contributing within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
You must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You must adhere to best practices in version control, testing, and documentation throughout the development cycle.
You must be committed to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code that aligns with industry standards.
Nice to have
Experience in web crawling, scraping, browser automation, and content extraction systems.
Strong understanding of how websites function internally at a deep architectural level.
Experience handling anti-bot protections, crawling optimization, and large-scale data extraction systems.
Exposure to performance monitoring, logging, tracing, and production diagnostics in distributed environments.
