Chart intake workflows and define stable video pipeline requirements.
Construct Android media components while balancing performance and user experience.
Examine profiling data to isolate playback issues and drive measurable improvements.
Refactor playback logic to support new formats and adaptive streaming behaviors.
Verify releases through rigorous testing and close collaboration with QA stakeholders.
Coordinate with product and engineering partners to align milestones and timelines.
Champion architectural improvements that strengthen long term platform stability.
Explore emerging streaming standards and assess their impact on viewer workflows.
Implement robust error handling and recovery mechanisms for diverse network conditions.
Optimize application memory and battery usage to ensure efficient background operation.

Requirements
You are passionate about application development and the streaming space, with 0-2 years of industry experience developing in Kotlin or Swift. You are committed to upholding excellence in operations, delivery, and engineering practices. You have experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing mobile applications. You have contributed to Android solutions that serve millions of global users. You have worked closely with product and program management to support technology roadmaps and project goals. You can demonstrate experience collaborating with senior engineers and team leads to drive Android development initiatives. You apply sound judgment to balance trade-offs between performance, scalability, and user experience. You have familiarity with multimedia frameworks and protocols like MPEG-DASH, HLS, and video streaming technologies. You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable debugging complex issues in distributed systems. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. You have a solid understanding of software development principles and best practices. You are able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
