We are seeking a driven sales professional to expand our presence in the New York City market. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for our AI platform for telemetry. This role is crucial for connecting enterprises with solutions that enhance their observability and data management capabilities. You will act as a trusted advisor to C-level and technical stakeholders, navigating complex enterprise buying committees to secure strategic partnerships. The position demands a high level of ownership over the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting through to successful implementation and expansion. You will leverage data and market insights to refine go-to-market approaches and maximize territory potential. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to build long-term relationships that result in sustainable, multi-year growth.

What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new opportunities and identify strategic accounts within the NYC region.
- Develop comprehensive solution presentations that clearly articulate the business value of the Cribl platform.
- Manage a full-funnel sales process, tracking progress and optimizing conversion rates at every stage.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to gather feedback that shapes future platform enhancements.
- Create customized proposals that address specific client challenges related to data infrastructure and security.
- Utilize advanced negotiation techniques to secure favorable contract terms and partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with customer success managers to ensure smooth onboarding and high retention rates.
- Analyze competitive landscape data to position Cribl solutions against alternative technologies effectively.
- Forecast revenue accurately using CRM tools and provide transparent updates to leadership.
- Lead technical workshops and proof-of-concept demonstrations for prospective enterprise clients.
- Establish a strong pipeline of qualified leads through targeted outreach and networking initiatives.
- Represent Cribl at industry conferences, virtual events, and client meetings to build brand awareness.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Foster cross-functional alignment to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded consistently.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales within complex B2B environments.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Have a history of selling solutions focused on infrastructure, observability, or data management platforms.
- Show experience selling to organizations in sectors such as Healthcare, Managed Security Services, Technology and Software, Communications & Media, State/Local Government/Education, Retail, Federal, Manufacturing & Logistics, and Financial Services.
- Exhibit familiarity with major technology platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks, Deloitte, Splunk, Elastic, Wiz, Exabeam, Confluent, and Google.
- Display a strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM platforms to manage deals efficiently.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Commit to regular travel within the assigned New York City region to meet with clients and partners.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
