About the role
You will spearhead the expansion of Cribl's presence within the Singapore market by orchestrating a comprehensive sales strategy for our observability platform. This role requires you to build deep, trust-based relationships with key decision makers and guide them through their digital transformation journey. You will own the entire sales process, from initial hypothesis to final contract signature, ensuring alignment with corporate revenue objectives. The position demands a consultative approach where you diagnose complex business problems and position Cribl as the central nervous system for data. You will leverage your expertise to connect technical capabilities with tangible business outcomes such as cost optimization and risk reduction. Collaboration with internal stakeholders is essential to tailor solutions that meet the specific demands of the local enterprise landscape. You will act as the primary market expert, feeding critical insights back to product and marketing teams to refine our go-to-market strategy. Success in this role is defined by your ability to drive adoption among Platform Engineering and SRE teams while exceeding assigned sales quotas.

What you'll do
Formulate and implement a multi-year sales plan that targets high-growth accounts across the Singapore region to maximize pipeline generation.
Conduct discovery sessions with Platform Engineering leaders and SREs to uncover latent needs around data strategy and observability modernization.
Qualify enterprise opportunities by analyzing stakeholder influence, budget authority, and implementation timelines to ensure efficient pipeline management.
Architect compelling value propositions that address specific challenges in SIEM migration, cloud cost control, and NetOps data routing.
Deliver technical presentations that articulate the power of Cribl's data plane, demonstrating collection, transformation, enrichment, and selective replay capabilities.
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with pre-sales engineers to design live demonstrations that de-risk the buyer's adoption concerns.
Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles by managing stakeholder mapping, proof of concept execution, and executive sponsorship development.
Forecast revenue with precision using CRM tools to track progression through the sales funnel and mitigate churn risks.
Champion the adoption of data reduction and observability best practices to help clients reduce infrastructure spend and improve MTTR.
Establish Cribl as the strategic partner for organizations undergoing digital transformation by aligning our solutions with long-term IT roadmaps.
Negotiate contract terms and service level agreements to secure win-win outcomes that reinforce long-term customer success.
Provide structured feedback on competitor activity and market trends to refine positioning against vendors like Splunk, Elastic, and Datadog.
Leverage industry-specific knowledge to tailor messaging for verticals such as Financial Services, Technology, and Government sectors.
Maintain a disciplined follow-up rhythm to ensure no opportunity stalls, thereby sustaining consistent pipeline velocity quarter over quarter.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline as a foundational qualification for the role.
Bring a minimum of five years of cumulative experience in enterprise software sales within a competitive technology environment.
Demonstrate a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas across multiple fiscal periods.
Possess direct experience selling complex data and infrastructure platforms to large organizations in regulated industries.
Have a history of selling into at least two of the following sectors: Healthcare, Financial Services, Technology, and Government.
Showcase a deep understanding of observability principles, including metrics, logs, traces, and the challenges of data volume management.
Exhibit fluency in modern data platforms, including cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform architectures.
Display strong knowledge of log management solutions and the operational challenges associated with SIEM migration projects.
Exhibit a high level of comfort working with technical audiences and translating business requirements into technical workflows.
Commit to adhering to professional sales ethics and maintaining the confidentiality of client information at all times.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with AI Observability solutions and the ability to discuss machine learning data challenges.
Working knowledge of DORA compliance metrics and how they relate to observability platform effectiveness.
Prior success developing and executing strategies for SIEM migration and log data consolidation initiatives.
Experience with major security and monitoring ecosystems such as Wiz, Exabeam, Crowdstrike, and Palo Alto Networks.
Understanding of streaming data architectures and event-driven patterns within cloud-native environments.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based on Remote work within the Singapore region.
Travel throughout the Asia-Pacific region may be required to meet with key clients and attend industry events.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, and additional performance incentives.
