About the role
You will own the technical and commercial success of Cribl's relationships with its technology and service partners, acting as the primary expert who ensures partners can confidently sell and support Cribl solutions. In this capacity, you will design and drive joint go-to-market strategies that align partner capabilities with Cribl's observability vision, directly influencing market expansion and revenue growth. Your daily work will focus on removing technical barriers for partners, enabling them to integrate, demonstrate, and scale Cribl's platform effectively within their own offerings. You will serve as the critical bridge between Cribl's product organization and the partner ecosystem, translating complex product capabilities into clear, partner-facing value propositions. Success in this role will be measured by the adoption, implementation quality, and satisfaction of strategic partners and their customers. You will leverage deep technical expertise to anticipate partner needs and provide proactive solutions that accelerate their time to value. Ultimately, your contributions will expand Cribl's reach through high-impact partnerships that enhance the overall observability landscape.

What you'll do
- Architect and implement joint business plans with strategic partners, defining specific milestones, success metrics, and co-sell targets for system integrators and technology vendors.
- Function as the primary technical resource for partners, guiding them through the configuration, deployment, and optimization of Cribl observability solutions in complex environments.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales and business development teams to identify, qualify, and pursue high-value joint opportunity pipelines that involve shared customer engagements.
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcase the integration and operational benefits of Cribl solutions to technical audiences.
- Create, manage, and optimize partner enablement programs, including developing training curricula, certification materials, and assessment tools to ensure partner competency.
- Establish feedback loops with partner organizations to collect detailed market intelligence, competitive insights, and product requirements that directly inform Cribl's strategic roadmap.
- Lead technical workshops and discovery sessions with partners to validate use cases, define architectures, and solve implementation challenges before deals progress.
- Act as an escalation path for partners facing technical hurdles, diagnosing issues related to integration, performance, and compatibility with diverse customer infrastructures.
- Track and report on partner and joint customer health metrics, including adoption rates, feature utilization, and renewal risks, to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent Cribl in industry forums, analyst briefings, and partner conferences, reinforcing the technical credibility of the Cribl brand and its ecosystem.
- Coordinate with product management and engineering teams to translate partner and customer feedback into actionable product enhancements and documentation updates.
- Develop technical collateral, such as integration guides, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting playbooks, that empower partners to execute independently.
- Enable partners to build specialized practice areas around observability by providing deep dives into data pipeline design, transformation logic, and schema management.
- Support the creation of joint marketing initiatives, including co-authored content, reference architectures, and customer story development that highlight successful partnerships.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in partner-facing technical sales or solutions engineering roles within the technology sector.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field that demonstrates foundational engineering principles.
- Prove a consistent ability to understand intricate technical architectures and translate them into clear, persuasive narratives for diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrate direct experience implementing solutions on major cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Show familiarity with core observability concepts and associated tooling, such as SIEM systems, log management platforms, and data pipeline frameworks.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering clear, concise technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
- Maintain the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing your schedule and collaborating asynchronously across global teams.
- Comply with Cribl's standards for professionalism, security, and confidentiality in all interactions with partners, customers, and internal teams.
- Commit to adhering to established processes for opportunity reporting, pipeline management, and partner communications.
- Willingness to travel domestically for key partner meetings, industry conferences, and training sessions when business needs require.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies, including ingestion, transformation, and routing of high-volume event data.
- Prior engagement with major technology partner ecosystems, such as Splunk, Elastic, Crowdstrike, or Palo Alto Networks, where you have influenced co-selling motions.
- A background in highly regulated sectors like Healthcare, Managed Security Services, or Financial Services, where compliance and data governance are critical.
