About the role
Cribl is building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era. We partner with IT and Security teams at many of the world's biggest enterprises, including half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, we give customers the choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents. This is a remote role based in the United States. You will join a team of technical engineers committed to shipping high-quality software while embracing curiosity and collaboration. This role requires a deep passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges at scale in a rapidly growing environment. You will be expected to contribute across the engineering organization, helping to envision, create, deploy, test, and ship Cribl products on a global stage. Requirements
- Development with JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript in a Linux or Mac environment.
- Experience designing, testing, and delivering reliable infrastructure for AI era telemetry across global enterprises.
- A software‑driven approach to cloud infrastructure, using tools such as Terraform to enable scale and repeatability.
- Complex systems experience from large‑scale, highly available distributed environments and SaaS platforms.
- Deep understanding of software design, enabling clear and testable solutions for evolving telemetry needs.
- You will engage directly with teams to implement product roadmaps and objectives, focusing on service delivery and reliability.
- You will help identify and reduce toil through creative innovation and automation.
- You will dedicate yourself to elegant, high‑quality software and maintaining best practices and engineering standards.
- You must have a strong commitment to operational excellence and reliability engineering principles.
- You must be able to work effectively in a fully remote setting with strong written communication skills.

- You must have at least five years of professional software development experience.
- You must have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.

- You must have experience with observability data pipelines and telemetry platforms.
