About the role
CoreWeave is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to manage and improve the quality standards of our hardware supply chain. You will work directly with our manufacturing partners in Taiwan to ensure our high-performance AI infrastructure meets rigorous performance and reliability benchmarks. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end quality validation of critical hardware components sourced for our compute infrastructure. You will act as the primary technical liaison between CoreWeave engineering and our external manufacturing ecosystem in Taiwan. What you'll do
- Conduct detailed audits of manufacturing lines and supplier facilities to verify adherence to defined quality control procedures.
- Track and analyze hardware defect data to identify trends and collaborate with engineering teams on corrective actions.
- Lead root cause investigations for component failures observed during validation or in the field.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of supplier performance metrics to evaluate vendor compliance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure incoming materials and components meet CoreWeave specifications.

Requirements
- You possess professional experience in supplier quality engineering, manufacturing, or hardware quality assurance.
- You demonstrate technical proficiency in hardware components related to server infrastructure or high-performance computing.
- You have the ability to travel to supplier sites within Taiwan as required for audits and investigations.
- You communicate effectively to manage relationships with external manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders.
- You are experienced with quality management systems and manufacturing process controls.
- You apply root cause analysis methodologies to solve complex hardware quality issues.
- You follow hardware testing and inspection protocols to validate component performance and reliability.
- You utilize data analysis for quality reporting and to drive decisions that improve supplier performance.
