About the role
CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our People Systems team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our critical HR systems landscape. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and understanding of HR processes to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our HR technology solutions. This position requires a trusted advisor capable of collaborating effectively with HR, finance, payroll stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors. You will deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our global workforce and accelerate our organizational capabilities. The role is integral to supporting CoreWeave's mission of building and scaling AI with confidence through robust internal infrastructure. You will own the full lifecycle of complex HR system initiatives from conception through deployment.

What you'll do
Design, implement, and configure core HR systems including Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll platforms.
Act as a subject matter expert to drive system enhancements and process automation across critical HR technology landscapes.
Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into optimal Workday solutions.
Manage Workday security roles, user permissions, and compliance configurations to ensure governance and regulatory adherence.
Develop and maintain comprehensive Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
Configure and maintain complex Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations to support seamless operational execution.
Participate in Workday system upgrades, testing, and release management activities to ensure continuity and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday system issues by collaborating with internal technical teams and Workday support specialists.
Provide advanced training and detailed documentation for end-users and stakeholders to maximize system adoption and proficiency.
Stay current with Workday enhancements, industry trends, and best practices to continuously optimize system performance and functionality.
Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to identify opportunities for improving the HR technology ecosystem.
Champion system reliability, performance monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives across all HR platforms.
Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects that require deep expertise in HRIS systems and stakeholder management.
Serve as a technical resource for related systems such as Greenhouse, Lattice, and CultureAmp within the broader HR suite.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or possess equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience supporting HR systems with specialized focus on Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll.
Possess extensive hands-on experience with Workday system configuration, customization, and administration in complex enterprise environments.
Showcase deep understanding of HR processes, payroll processing, and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Exhibit proficiency in managing Workday security architecture, user access controls, and system compliance frameworks.
Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to dissect complex system issues and devise effective solutions.
Bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic technology environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Commit to adhering to industry best practices, governance standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to HR systems management.
