What you'll do
- Spearhead the identification and meticulous assessment of prospective strategic partnerships, investment avenues, and acquisition targets.
- Engineer sophisticated financial models and perform in-depth valuation analysis to underpin all major corporate development decisions.
- Lead comprehensive market research initiatives to monitor and interpret competitive trends and significant industry shifts within the cloud and AI sectors.
- Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to orchestrate the full lifecycle management of complex corporate development initiatives from inception to closure.
- Design and assemble high-level presentations and detailed reports to articulate strategic recommendations to executive leadership effectively.
- Conduct exhaustive due diligence processes to evaluate the financial, operational, and technical facets of potential targets.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated scenario analyses to evaluate the financial implications and strategic risks of various opportunities.
- Act as the primary technical and strategic point of contact for evaluating opportunities within the AI infrastructure domain.
- Drive the integration planning phase for selected acquisitions to ensure realization of projected synergies and value creation.
- Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics to validate hypotheses and refine strategic priorities continuously.
Requirements
- Demonstrated prior experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in advanced financial modeling, sophisticated valuation techniques, and rigorous quantitative analysis.
- Show a consistent ability to synthesize complex market data and disparate information sources into actionable strategic insights.
- Maintain excellent communication skills to effectively manage cross-functional relationships and engage with external stakeholders at the highest level.
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related field; an advanced degree is highly valued.
- Possess a deep understanding of financial statement analysis and the ability to influence C-suite level decision-making.
- Show resilience and adaptability when operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving startup environment.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a commitment to mastering the technical nuances of the AI infrastructure industry.
