You will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and success of CoreWeave's storage product line, defining how AI workloads consume and leverage high-performance cloud storage. You will translate complex technical requirements into clear product visions that align engineering, marketing, and sales for cohesive market execution. This role requires deep collaboration with infrastructure and AI teams to ensure storage capabilities keep pace with rapidly evolving AI model training and inference needs. You will be responsible for differentiating CoreWeave storage in a competitive hyperscaler landscape through measurable performance and reliability leadership. What you'll do
Define and own the multi-year product roadmap for CoreWeave's high-performance file and object storage solutions, balancing innovation with operational excellence.
Conduct deep market and competitive analysis focused on AI workload storage patterns, benchmarking our offerings against hyperscaler alternatives to identify clear differentiation opportunities.
Partner with AI workload engineers to uncover latent requirements for throughput, latency, and data consistency, translating these insights into concrete product requirements.
Collaborate closely with storage infrastructure teams to validate architectural trade-offs, ensuring scalability, durability, and performance targets are met for demanding AI training workloads.
Lead the definition and execution of go-to-market narratives, messaging frameworks, and sales enablement tools that clearly articulate the value of CoreWeave storage to technical buyers.
Establish rigorous product metrics and dashboards, monitoring usage, performance, and reliability indicators to drive data-informed prioritization and continuous improvement.
Champion customer discovery programs, synthesizing feedback from early access users and large-scale deployments to shape future storage capabilities and SLAs.
Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, security, and operations to streamline onboarding, provisioning, and lifecycle management of storage resources for AI clusters.
Evaluate emerging storage technologies and protocols, running targeted experiments to assess viability for adoption within CoreWeave's platform and roadmap.
Own the end-to-end user experience for storage workflows, simplifying complex configurations while exposing powerful features for advanced AI workloads.
Define and maintain storage product documentation, reference architectures, and integration guidelines to support developer adoption and ecosystem growth.
Work with finance and leadership to model product-level P&L, forecasting revenue impact and infrastructure cost implications of major product initiatives.
Champion accessibility, reliability, and security best practices across storage features, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal governance.
Act as a thought leader on AI storage trends, contributing to public-facing content, technical talks, and community engagement to strengthen CoreWeave's brand.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on cloud storage, distributed systems, or infrastructure software.
Strong understanding of storage technologies and trends, including file system storage, object storage, and high-performance shared storage for AI.
Proven track record of managing successful products from concept through launch, scaling, and iterative improvement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with detailed execution, managing multiple priorities while maintaining clarity of goals.
Experience working with AI, machine learning, or high-performance computing workloads is highly relevant for understanding customer contexts.
Comfort operating in a fast-growth, dynamic startup environment, embracing change, and driving results under tight timelines.
Nice to have
Experience with cloud provider storage services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with hyperscaler infrastructure models.
Background in AI, machine learning, or HPC workloads and the associated data pipeline requirements.
