About the role
You will own the end-to-end financial operations of Conveo, ensuring that every major decision is backed by rigorous analysis and accurate data. This role requires you to act as both a financial operator and a strategic partner to the leadership team across all divisions. You will design and implement scalable financial systems that support hypergrowth from 70 to 200+ people. The position involves deep collaboration with founders to evaluate capital allocation, revenue strategies, and expense management. You will drive critical discussions on hiring plans, cash runway, and overall business economics. Over time, you will shape broader go-to-market and strategic initiatives based on business priorities and your own capabilities. This is a role for a generalist who thrives on connecting detailed financial execution to high-level strategic outcomes.

What you'll do
- Architect and optimize the financial systems and processes that scale Conveo from a startup to a 200+ person organization, including ERP setup and expense controls.
- Own the management and optimization of accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure efficient cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Build and maintain robust financial models for scenario analysis, business cases, and hiring plans that directly inform leadership decision-making.
- Monitor and report on core SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, and burn multiple to track business health and guide strategy.
- Coordinate closely with accounting teams to consolidate financial results across US, UK, and BE entities ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare investor and board reports that enhance financial credibility and support future fundraising efforts for Series B.
- Manage the ESOP and commission plans while analyzing deal economics, pricing, and capital allocation to maximize value creation.
- Lead financial due diligence and preparation for Series B, including subsidies and alternative financing structures.
- Partner with sales and operations to translate business objectives into financial plans and performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and transfer pricing requirements while identifying opportunities for financial optimization.
Requirements
- Hold 1-4 years of professional experience, ideally gained in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or a high-growth startup environment.
- Demonstrate model mastery by building three-statement models, conducting scenario analysis, and creating ad-hoc financial models with accuracy.
- Exhibit unmatched interest in the challenges and opportunities of high-growth startups and mission-driven technology companies.
- Possess strong analytical and communication skills that enable you to translate complex financial data into clear decisions for non-finance stakeholders.
- Show a strong understanding of core SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, and burn multiple to assess business performance.
- Have familiarity with accounting principles and practices to support financial reporting and compliance activities.
- Be able to start the role in August at the earliest, with earlier start dates preferred to align with rapid growth phases.
- Willingness to work primarily in the UK or Belgium (BE) to support regional operations and cross-entity coordination.
- Communicate fluently in English to ensure clarity and alignment across global teams and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Practical experience with Belgian, UK, and US accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Direct involvement in Series B or C fundraising rounds and prior experience with financial due diligence processes.
- Exposure to FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, even if not formally required.
- Background in conducting 409A valuations, managing R&D subsidies, and handling tax administration procedures.
- Experience with transfer pricing frameworks and cross-border financial operations in multi-jurisdiction environments.
