What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET Core, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and other technical challenges in a timely manner.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to enhance code quality and reliability, contributing to a robust CI/CD pipeline.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our technology stack.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, helping to shape the future direction of our software solutions.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on software features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to promote effective team collaboration.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on .NET Core.
• Proficiency in C# and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular, enabling full-stack development capabilities.
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, and experience in deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and experience with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum, and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development and experience implementing secure coding techniques.
• Previous experience in the financial services industry or working on fintech applications.
• Understanding of user experience design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI teams.
