What you'll do
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting to ensure Bamboohr remains competitive and compliant.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, translating complex financial information into actionable insights.
- Drive initiatives to improve financial systems and processes, leveraging technology to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiency.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial insights that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA designation is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a corporate environment.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with advanced financial modeling is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
