About the role
Commure is building an AI operating system for the healthcare industry to automate documentation and revenue cycle workflows. This role focuses on optimizing account operations and revenue cycle management to support our rapid scaling. You will manage high-value client relationships while designing the internal systems required to handle a projected 5 to 10 times increase in our customer base. The position requires a hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity and owns the end-to-end success of client engagements. You will translate strategic business objectives into executable operational plans that drive efficiency and growth. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to scale processes without sacrificing quality or client satisfaction. This is a critical leadership position that directly impacts the company's ability to serve a growing portfolio of healthcare customers.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage client growth through operational improvements and new initiatives that enhance account stability and expansion.
- Track and improve key performance indicators including process throughput and defect rates to ensure operational excellence.
- Create and document standardized internal processes, training materials, and reporting structures for consistent execution.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Billing, Launcher, and Account Management teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
- Serve as the main contact for complex accounts generating $1.2M to $1.5M in annual recurring revenue, ensuring their needs are met with precision.
- Support junior staff by acting as an escalation point for client issues, providing guidance and resolving blockers efficiently.
- Lead project execution from initial concept to final outcome, overseeing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
- Travel for business purposes 10-20 percent of the time to client sites and industry events as required.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement in account workflows.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Drive the implementation of best practices across the operations team to improve scalability and repeatability.
- Own the end-to-end client lifecycle, ensuring that all operational touchpoints are seamless and aligned with company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to forecast resource needs and capacity planning for future growth phases.
- Champion data-driven decision making by leveraging insights to optimize performance and client outcomes.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and information security protocols.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in operations, investment banking, or consulting within a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Background in leading teams within client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to manage and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis to derive insights and support strategic decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to lead client meetings and address difficult topics with confidence and professionalism.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and resolve blockers independently in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to following information security policies and protecting company assets at all times.
- Willingness to adhere to on-site work requirements, including five days per week in Mountain View, California.
- Capacity to travel 10-20 percent of the time for business purposes, including client visits and industry engagements.
