Senior Operations Manager, Ambient Infrastructure

About the role

This role is for an operations leader who can manage complex requests and define processes for Commure's Ambient AI infrastructure. You will resolve escalations, set operational boundaries, and build scalable systems that support both product and customer needs. Your work will directly impact how healthcare is delivered and documented.

What you'll do

• Act as the primary decision-maker for requests outside standard product scope, evaluating business fit and feasibility.
• Lead EHR Credentialing operations for a team of four, optimizing workflows and automating manual tasks.
• Establish and track key performance metrics for credentialing, such as cycle time, error rate, and automation coverage.
• Provide operational support for Business Operations, managing onboarding, offboarding, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Develop and document operational playbooks for exception handling, credentialing, and BizOps workflows.
• Implement AI tools and internal platforms to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Define and maintain the team's operational rhythm through regular reviews, SLA reports, and cross-functional meetings.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in operations, product operations, or technical operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional processes involving triage, judgment, and stakeholder alignment, ideally in high-growth SaaS or healthcare technology.
• Prior experience leading a small team, setting priorities, monitoring output, and ensuring accountability to SLAs.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and business intelligence or internal tooling platforms to create useful reports.
• Strong ability to design and document processes, thinking in terms of scalable systems and creating playbooks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for policy documents, exception recommendations, and executive summaries.

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare technology, EHR systems, or clinical workflow operations, with knowledge of credentialing.
• Experience in Business Operations, Go-to-Market Operations, or Revenue Operations supporting sales or account management.
• Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs for workflow automation, and experience with low-code platforms like Retool or Vercel.
• Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple complex tasks and proactively manage expectations.
• A systems-oriented and collaborative operator who builds trust through consistent follow-through.
• Ability to clearly and fairly decline requests with documented reasoning, making complex processes transparent.
