What you'll do

• Lead the design of game mechanics, systems, and features, ensuring they align with the overall vision of the project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and refine game concepts, ensuring a cohesive and engaging player experience.
• Create detailed design documentation, including gameplay mechanics, level designs, and user interfaces, to guide the development process.
• Conduct playtesting sessions to gather feedback, analyze player behavior, and iterate on designs based on insights gained.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into game design.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in game design, with a proven track record of successful game titles.
• Strong understanding of game mechanics, level design, and player engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar game development platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Experience in leading design projects and mentoring junior team members.
• A portfolio showcasing previous work and demonstrating a strong understanding of game design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
