Interviewers often ask how you balance care with boundaries and risk. Reflecting on real cases you have handled, with the outcome, is the strongest preparation.

Questions to ask
Useful questions for the interview: what a typical week looks like, how work is assigned, what tools the team uses, and how feedback works. Asking how the role has changed recently and what the team wishes it had known when joining is also reasonable. Questions about the manager's priorities are especially valued.
Career growth
Careers in healthcare and social work grow through senior practitioner, team lead, and manager roles. Registration and continuous learning are required in many countries. Specialization is common, from mental health to children's services. Care careers reward reliability and reflective practice.
