About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Coder's social media activities on a daily basis, focusing on transforming intricate concepts related to AI infrastructure into engaging and accessible content. Your primary objective will be to create captivating narratives that resonate with both technical and business audiences through various formats, including video and written content. By collaborating with multiple marketing and development teams, you will help amplify Coder's voice across prominent social media platforms.

What you'll do
- Manage daily interactions on social media, ensuring timely responses to comments and mentions while maintaining a brand voice that is both technical and approachable to enhance engagement and reach.
- Create comprehensive vertical video content tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, which includes scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and optimizing for maximum impact.
- Work closely with various teams to roll out product launches, thought leadership initiatives, customer success stories, and event promotions across social media channels.
- Transform existing content, such as webinars, blog articles, and product demonstrations, into formats that are native to each social media platform.
- Track and evaluate the performance of content, analyze emerging trends, share valuable insights, and incorporate findings into future content strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media platforms, algorithm changes, new content formats, and effective practices within the developer tools and B2B technology sectors.
- Oversee the content calendar to ensure regular publishing and actively propose fresh content ideas to keep the audience engaged.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that social media strategies align with broader marketing objectives and brand messaging.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation, whether through brand, agency, or independent work, supported by a diverse portfolio showcasing your skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in video production for both short-form content (like Reels and Shorts) and long-form content (such as YouTube videos).
- Experience with an AI-driven workflow, utilizing AI tools for tasks like image generation, video editing, scripting, ideation, and overall production, while staying abreast of new technological advancements.
- A solid understanding of brand identity, drawing inspiration from companies such as Anthropic, GitHub, Notion, Figma, and TechCrunch.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone, format, and technical depth according to the specific platform and audience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency, ownership, and independence, including the capability to quickly produce video responses to relevant news.
- Strong organizational skills, combined with a proactive approach to suggesting new ideas, experiments, and opportunities for content development.
- Capacity to quickly comprehend technical concepts and translate them into engaging, accurate, and accessible content for a broader audience.
Nice to have
- Experience presenting on-camera for product demonstrations, interviews, educational materials, or explainers.
- Background in creating content specifically for B2B technology, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or similar fields.
- Familiarity with developer communities on platforms like X, GitHub, or Discord.
- Working knowledge of AI agents, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering principles.
- Experience using content operations tools such as Sprout Social or Notion for managing social media activities.

- Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
