About the role
This position centers on guiding how artificial intelligence capabilities are woven into the fabric of Coalfire's cybersecurity services and client engagements. You will own the development and execution of strategies that demonstrate the practical value of AI within our advisory, assessment, and automation offerings. A core part of this role involves building and nurturing a community of practice that connects data professionals, engineers, and client-facing experts across the organization. You will translate complex AI concepts into clear narratives that help teams understand how these tools can solve real-world cybersecurity problems. You will act as a bridge between emerging technological possibilities and the operational needs of clients in highly regulated industries. Success in this role will be measured by the adoption of AI practices, the quality of community contributions, and the tangible outcomes delivered to clients. What you'll do
Design and deliver internal and external content that explains AI concepts, use cases, and limitations to diverse audiences.
Lead the creation of reusable assets such as playbooks, checklists, and reference architectures that help teams apply AI responsibly within cybersecurity engagements.
Curate and maintain an internal repository of prompts, workflows, and evaluation methods that improve the consistency and quality of AI-assisted deliverables.
Partner with data engineers and analysts to identify opportunities where AI can enhance data quality, automate routine tasks, and uncover insights faster.
Collaborate with solution architects to integrate AI capabilities into client proposals, scoping documents, and implementation plans.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions that upskill team members on emerging tools, ethical considerations, and prompt engineering techniques.
Establish metrics and feedback loops that measure the impact of AI initiatives on project velocity, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Champion community-driven initiatives such as peer reviews, best-practice sharing, and pilot programs that validate new approaches before scaling.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking guidance on appropriate and effective use of AI in their workstreams.
Drive the collection of anonymized examples and lessons learned that feed into Coalfire's thought leadership and service offerings.
Engage with external communities, conferences, and open-source projects to ensure Coalfire remains at the forefront of practical AI applications in security.
Support the continuous improvement of internal processes by experimenting with AI tools that streamline research, reporting, and communication tasks.
Promote responsible AI practices by ensuring that outputs are validated, sources are cited, and potential biases are clearly communicated to clients.
Foster cross-functional collaboration so that AI initiatives are aligned with the strategic priorities of cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree is required, and you must Work eligibility in the United States without sponsorship is mandatory to ensure immediate availability for the role.
You must demonstrate a clear understanding of AI fundamentals, including common models, their strengths, and their limitations.
You must have experience working with data, analytics, or technology roles where structured problem-solving is a core part of the position.
