Coalfire is seeking a Director of Contracts, Procurement and Partnerships to lead the organization's contract management, vendor procurement, and strategic partnership initiatives. As a team of thought leaders, consultants, and cybersecurity experts, the company's senior leadership position plays a central role in ensuring that commercial operations support the mission of helping clients navigate complex cybersecurity challenges. The director will oversee end-to-end processes for agreements, vendor relationships, and collaborative arrangements that drive business growth across the company. Reporting to senior leadership, this individual will shape the company's approach to procurement and partnership strategy across domestic and international markets as a team of passionate problem-solvers hungry to learn, grow, and make a difference.

What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of the company's contracts management strategy across all business units and functional teams to ensure consistency and compliance
- Oversee procurement activities to ensure cost-effective vendor selection and favorable terms for the organization in all purchasing categories and contract types
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors, service providers, and external organizations that align with company objectives and long-term business goals
- Review and negotiate complex commercial agreements including statements of work, master service agreements, and other binding contracts that govern vendor relationships
- Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure all contracts comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate governance policies and procedures
- Manage a team of contract and procurement professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, career development, and performance oversight across the department
- Analyze procurement data and vendor performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency gains
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate invoicing, payment terms, and compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor database and procurement pipeline tracking system that provides visibility and reporting across the entire organization
- Represent the organization in partnership discussions and external negotiations with key stakeholders, business partners, and third-party service providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management, or a related field is required for this senior leadership position
- Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in contracts management, procurement, or a related professional discipline within a corporate setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team of professionals in a corporate or organizational environment with direct reporting responsibilities
- Strong understanding of commercial contract structures, procurement regulations, and vendor management practices and procedures in a global business context
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms for the organization across multiple contract cycles
- Ability to travel as needed across the United States and potentially to international offices when required for business purposes
- Proficiency with procurement software and contract lifecycle management systems commonly used in enterprise environments and large organizations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-volume contract and procurement environments with tight deadlines
Nice to have
- Master's degree in business administration, law, or a related field is preferred but not required for this role
- Experience working in the cybersecurity or technology services sector is a strong advantage for candidates pursuing this position
- Familiarity with federal procurement regulations and government contracting processes is beneficial for organizations engaged in public sector work
- Prior experience managing partnerships with consulting firms or professional services organizations demonstrates relevant exposure to this type of work
