What you'll do

• Develop and implement quality management systems that align with industry standards and best practices.
• Lead the quality assurance team in conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and drive corrective actions to enhance product quality.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement, presenting findings to senior management.
• Facilitate training programs for staff on quality standards, processes, and tools to ensure a high level of quality awareness throughout the organization.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Manage customer complaints related to quality, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and progress on quality initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact quality standards and practices.
• Foster a culture of quality within the organization by promoting best practices and encouraging employee engagement in quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving performance improvements.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQM, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and quality improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to the industry, such as FDA or ISO regulations.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a quality assurance team.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
