Strategy & Operations Manager, Wholesale
Job description
About the role
You own the strategic and operational decisions that define how Clutch's wholesale business grows and scales. This role is responsible for building and running the analytics and reporting layer that turns wholesale data into clear, actionable decisions for leadership. You will design data-driven routing models that optimize how vehicles flow through auctions, direct sales, and export channels to maximize revenue per unit. You will drive initiatives to build new disposition channels, including real estate, systems, and key partnerships that support expanded capacity. You will own the end-to-end execution of cross-functional special projects from ideation through implementation in Supply, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. You will also own business reviews, OKR tracking, and performance reporting to ensure the wholesale operation runs efficiently as volume scales. You will work directly with the Director of Wholesale, and your analysis and recommendations will be presented to Clutch's executive team for strategic decision-making. You will spend significant time inside the operation, testing hypotheses and solving bottlenecks on the ground rather than only modeling from a distance.

- Translate leadership intent into concrete plans that can be executed by cross-functional teams without requiring constant re-direction.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability for key milestones, ensuring that strategic initiatives move from discussion to delivered results.
