About the role
This position centers on advancing the core algorithmic capabilities that power next generation virtual garment simulation. You will own the design and implementation of critical modules within the CLO simulation engine, focusing on performance and scalability. The role requires deep collaboration with cross functional teams spanning product, design, and research to translate conceptual requirements into robust software solutions. You will be responsible for optimizing complex physics based computations to ensure realistic behavior in digital fashion workflows. In addition, you will contribute to the architecture that links digital assets with physical production data, enabling traceability across the entire lifecycle. You will play a key part in researching and integrating emerging computer graphics techniques that enhance visual fidelity and interaction. Your work will directly influence how global brands design, fit, and finalize collections in a virtual environment.

What you'll do
Architect and develop high performance C/C++ components that drive the core simulation and rendering pipeline for virtual fashion.
Implement and optimize numerical methods for cloth dynamics, ensuring stability and accuracy across a diverse range of garment typologies.
Collaborate with product managers to dissect user requirements and convert them into technical specifications for new simulation features.
Lead the integration of new algorithms from research prototypes into production grade modules that meet strict reliability standards.
Work closely with designers to iterate on visualization tools, improving the interactive experience for creating and evaluating digital patterns.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to validate the correctness and performance of critical simulation workflows.
Analyze large scale simulation data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in memory usage and computational efficiency.
Partner with the data science team to explore machine learning techniques that can augment traditional physics based simulation methods.
Coordinate with the engineering team in North America and Europe to ensure seamless compatibility with external tools and services.
Document technical designs and implementation details to support long term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance on coding practices, debugging strategies, and software design principles.
Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of quality, security, and performance across the entire codebase.
Engage with the global user community to gather feedback and identify opportunities for innovative features in the simulation ecosystem.
Contribute to the strategic roadmap of the CLO platform by proposing technical solutions that address emerging market needs.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, or a closely related technical field.
A strong proficiency in C/C++ is mandatory, with demonstrated experience in low level memory management and performance optimization.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of numerical methods, linear algebra, and differential equations as they apply to physical simulation.
Experience with multithreaded programming and concurrency control mechanisms is essential for managing complex simulation tasks.
Knowledge of computer graphics APIs such as OpenGL or DirectX, as well as shader programming, is required for rendering integration.
Proven ability to debug complex issues in high dimensional data sets and real time interactive systems is necessary.
You must be comfortable working with version control systems and collaborative development workflows at scale.
A methodical approach to problem solving, including rigorous root cause analysis and systematic testing, is required.
Nice to have
Familiarity with garment simulation literature and previous work in the field of virtual fashion or apparel design is preferred.
Experience with real time visualization platforms and interactive editor tools is highly valued.
Background in developing SaaS products or cloud based services is considered an advantage for this role.
