IT Operations Engineer
Job description
About the role
IT Operations Engineer
Position Overview
CLO Virtual Fashion operates at the intersection of technology and apparel, delivering end-to-end solutions for the global fashion industry. Our foundation is a 3D garment simulation ecosystem that spans concept ideation, technical design, production logistics, and consumer engagement. We utilize specialized platforms such as CLO, Marvelous Designer, and Jinny to manage this entire lifecycle. Our proprietary systems, CLO-SET and CONNECT, are dedicated environments that handle specific garment data and foster seamless interaction between physical and digital assets. This architecture allows for real-time tagging and synchronization, enabling workflows where digital prototypes interact directly with manufacturing pipelines. We are committed to building IT frameworks that are both high-performing and environmentally responsible.
The Information Security and IT Operations organization exists to ensure that our technological infrastructure meets the rigorous demands of our creative stakeholders. Our mandate is to construct and maintain an ecosystem that is globally compliant yet flexible enough to empower individual contributors. We have established a distinct operational culture that values independence within a structured standards framework. We are seeking professionals who can rapidly comprehend these unique dynamics and contribute to the continuity and enhancement of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the technical custodian for our core infrastructure, bridging the gap between digital design interfaces and physical production requirements. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the platforms supporting CLO and Marvelous Designer remain available, secure, and performant for distributed teams.
- Infrastructure Architecture: Design and manage the cloud and on-premise resources that support our virtual fashion pipeline. You will ensure that the networks connecting design studios, data centers, and manufacturing facilities are robust and efficient.
- System Monitoring and Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for critical applications, including CLO-SET and CONNECT. You will establish dashboards and alerting mechanisms to ensure 24/7 system integrity.
- Automation and Deployment: Develop scripts and configuration management processes to automate the deployment of infrastructure changes. The goal is to accelerate development cycles without compromising the stability of production environments.
- Security and Compliance: Act as a liaison between technical teams and security functions. You will ensure that data handling procedures, access policies, and network configurations comply with international regulations and industry best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze resource consumption across different geographic regions. You will optimize configurations to maintain high responsiveness during periods of intense collaborative activity, such as seasonal design reviews.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, network topologies, and change management procedures. This documentation serves as a reference to accelerate onboarding and troubleshooting.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with analytics groups to review system usage metrics. You will translate these insights into recommendations for scaling infrastructure to meet future business demands.
- Incident Management: Lead efforts to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. This involves collecting system logs, tracing network paths, and coordinating with vendors to restore service quickly.
