About the role
Clear Capital is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the Restb Test Req 2.0 position, which is based in their Barcelona office. The primary responsibility of this role is to define, write, and manage test requirements that guide the quality assurance efforts for the Restb product. The successful candidate will work hand in hand with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that every feature and function is thoroughly tested against well-documented criteria. Key facts
What you'll do
Define and document test requirements for the Restb product in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Review existing test specifications carefully and identify any gaps or areas that need improvement
Work alongside developers and product managers to translate user needs and business goals into testable criteria
Create and maintain test requirement traceability matrices that map each requirement to specific test cases for the Restb platform
Participate actively in requirement review sessions and provide constructive feedback on overall test coverage
Ensure that all test requirements are aligned with the broader product roadmap and the company's quality goals
Support the test team members by clarifying requirements and answering questions during the execution phase of testing
Update test requirement documentation regularly as the Restb product evolves through each new release cycle
Coordinate with the Barcelona office team to align on testing priorities, timelines, and resource allocation
Track the status of each test requirement and report progress to the relevant project leads and managers
Requirements
Proven experience in test requirements engineering or a closely related quality assurance discipline is expected
Familiarity with writing and managing structured test requirement documents using standard industry practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills that allow for effective interaction with technical and non-technical teams
The ability to work independently and manage multiple test requirement tasks without constant supervision
A high level of attention to detail when reviewing specifications and identifying any inconsistencies or errors
A solid understanding of software development lifecycle phases and how testing workflows fit within them
A genuine willingness to collaborate across different teams and adapt to changing project priorities and needs
Comfortable working in a Barcelona-based office environment and able to coordinate with local team members
Nice to have
Prior experience with requirements management tools or test tracking systems used in software development
Knowledge of the real estate technology or property valuation domain and how testing applies in that space
Experience working in a cross-functional team setting in a European city or international environment
Familiarity with Spanish language or Barcelona workplace culture and local business norms and expectations
Any background in quality assurance or testing within a startup or fast-paced technology company is welcome

Proficiency in writing clear and unambiguous test requirement specifications that leave no room for misinterpretation
Experience with document management and version control practices for maintaining accurate test artifacts over time
A solid understanding of traceability and coverage analysis methods used in formal testing processes
The ability to use standard office productivity tools for documentation, reporting, and sharing test requirement information
Familiarity with basic testing concepts such as test cases, test scenarios, and test condition definitions
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple requirement documents and keeping them up to date consistently
