Role context and mission
The Senior Manager, Airport Operations Support will serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Vice President of Travel and Field Vice Presidents. This role translates executive intent into field execution and shapes how teams serve members during peak traffic. You act as the connective tissue between airport operations and corporate functions, ensuring strategic priorities become actionable plans executed across a complex, distributed organization. Decisions you make directly influence member experiences during critical travel moments.
Primary responsibilities
You will serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the Executive Vice President of Travel and Field Vice Presidents, driving alignment, coordination, and execution across the Travel organization. You will lead cross-functional initiatives by partnering with Product, Operations, Finance and Analytics, People, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure clear ownership, accountability, and successful execution. Driving organizational effectiveness will be central to your role, as you establish operating cadences, governance processes, and communication frameworks that improve visibility, decision-making, and execution.
A core part of this position involves developing executive-ready communications, presentations, business reviews, and performance updates that provide clarity on priorities, progress, risks, and opportunities. You will support annual and quarterly planning processes, including OKRs, initiative prioritization, resource planning, and roadmap coordination across the Travel business. Monitoring operational performance and strategic initiatives will allow you to proactively identify risks, execution gaps, and organizational bottlenecks while driving resolution and follow-through.
You will serve as the primary liaison between field leadership and corporate stakeholders, ensuring field teams receive clear, concise, and actionable information while minimizing unnecessary complexity. Coordinating leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions will ensure alignment on priorities, actions, and outcomes. Leading high-priority projects requiring executive visibility, you will manage timelines, dependencies, stakeholder alignment, and status reporting from inception through completion. You will also support enterprise transformation and operational improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, scalability, and business performance across the Travel organization.
Measuring success
Success will be measured by execution and delivery of strategic initiatives against established timelines, milestones, and business objectives. You will demonstrate improvement in organizational alignment, communication effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration across the Travel business. Adoption and effectiveness of operating cadences, business reviews, planning processes, and performance management frameworks will indicate progress. You will provide visibility into key business metrics, operational performance indicators, and initiative progress for field and executive leadership. Reduction of execution gaps, operational bottlenecks, and unresolved cross-functional dependencies will further signal impact.
What you are great at
You bring eight or more years of experience in consulting, business operations, program management, or Chief of Staff roles, ideally within a high-growth or operations-intensive environment. You drive complex cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership, accountability, measurable outcomes, and executive-level visibility. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills enable you to create executive-ready presentations, business reviews, and strategic recommendations. You analyze data to guide decisions and monitor performance indicators. You thrive while coordinating across functions in a distributed environment.
