About the role
CLEAR is building a secure identity platform used by 38 million members to simplify physical and digital experiences. We are looking for a technical product leader to manage our marketing technology stack and drive member acquisition through data-driven systems. This role is responsible for architecting the technical foundation that allows our identity platform to power precise and relevant member interactions. You will own the strategic vision for our MarTech ecosystem, ensuring that every tool and workflow aligns with the broader business objectives. The position demands a balance of technical depth and marketing fluency to translate complex requirements into executable product plans. You will act as the central hub for integration decisions, making sure data flows seamlessly between our core systems. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to turn fragmented marketing operations into a unified, scalable, and measurable engine. You will be the primary driver of process maturity and technological advancement in our marketing technology organization.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct the roadmap and performance of our MarTech ecosystem, covering CRM, audience activation, attribution, and data infrastructure.
- Establish reliable measurement standards for paid, organic, and partner acquisition channels.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to refine audience targeting, lifecycle messaging, and search engine performance.
- Manage audience segmentation and first-party data activation using Snowflake and Hightouch.
- Optimize the digital enrollment funnel for conversion and personalization.
- Oversee vendor relationships and prioritize technical investments to improve marketing ROI.
- Define and implement event tracking and data models to support advanced attribution analysis.
- Partner with data engineering to ensure the reliability, freshness, and usability of marketing datasets.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of new MarTech tools through rigorous cost-benefit analysis.
- Conduct deep analysis of funnel drop-off points to identify and execute high-impact improvements.
- Create narratives and dashboards that communicate the impact of marketing initiatives to executive stakeholders.
- Establish governance processes for data quality, naming conventions, and privacy compliance within marketing.
- Drive experiments across landing pages, content, and calls-to-action to maximize conversion rates.
- Synthesize feedback from marketing, sales, and support teams to inform product backlog priorities.
- Champion the adoption of best practices for customer data privacy and ethical data usage.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience focused on growth, data infrastructure, or marketing technology.
- Expertise in CRM systems, customer data platforms, attribution tracking, and data activation.
- Background in scaling paid media, SEO, SEM, and lifecycle programs through technical integrations.
- Experience managing major platform transitions, such as CRM migrations or large-scale measurement overhauls.
- Analytical proficiency using data warehouses and experimentation frameworks to guide decisions.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects involving engineering, data, and marketing stakeholders.
- Strong communication and strategic planning abilities.

Practical notes
Total compensation ranges from $300,000 to $350,000, combining base salary and new hire equity in Restricted Stock Units. The role is eligible for ongoing refresh equity grants.
