About the role
ClassPass is actively searching for a data-focused professional to drive our consumer acquisition and retention strategies in the United Kingdom market. You will be responsible for translating complex performance data into clear and actionable business cases that guide strategic decisions across our Marketing, Finance, and Product departments. This role requires a strong partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing investments are justified and optimized for sustainable growth. You will own the analysis of consumer behavior to identify patterns that inform our long-term commercial objectives. The position is integral to bridging the gap between raw data and executive-level decision-making. You will play a key role in ensuring our marketing strategies are grounded in robust quantitative evidence. This is an opportunity to shape the analytical foundation of our marketing performance in a critical region.

What you'll do
- Manage the end-to-end reporting, forecasting, and evaluation of core acquisition and retention metrics, including in-depth variance analysis against targets.
- Assess performance metrics across various marketing channels and distinct geographic regions to pinpoint the most significant opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Create and manage interactive dashboards that provide teams with clear visibility into marketing performance and return on investment.
- Model diverse investment opportunities and accurately size potential initiatives to build compelling and data-backed business cases for leadership.
- Create robust measurement frameworks, such as media mix models and incrementality tests, to determine the true impact and marketing ROI of our campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on overarching business strategy and strict financial goals.
- Synthesize complex datasets into concise narratives and deliver strategic recommendations directly to senior leadership stakeholders.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators to ensure our marketing strategies are meeting established benchmarks in the UK market.
- Partner with the Finance department to reconcile marketing spend and ensure accurate tracking of campaign profitability.
- Lead ad-hoc analyses to support urgent business questions and provide insights that drive rapid strategic pivots when necessary.
- Maintain best practices for data governance and ensure the integrity and security of all marketing performance datasets.
- Translate high-level business objectives into specific analytical requirements and technical specifications for the marketing team.
- Mentor junior analysts on best practices for data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Continuously challenge the status quo by identifying new data sources and analytical methods to improve marketing effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, or FP&A roles within a relevant industry.
- Demonstrate proven proficiency in building detailed and accurate financial models using advanced Excel functions and formulas.
- Possess the ability to independently query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL with confidence.
- Have a proven history of creating persuasive business cases and presenting complex investment advice to senior stakeholders.
- Show strong analytical skills with a specific focus on identifying root causes of performance trends and anomalies.
- Capacity to operate effectively and deliver high-quality results within a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
- Exhibit strong ownership and accountability for your work, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Comfortable synthesizing qualitative insights with quantitative data to form a complete picture of marketing performance.
