About the role
The Director, Product Management, ClassPass Consumer is responsible for owning the end-to-end strategy and execution for consumer growth and engagement within the ClassPass ecosystem. This role requires setting a clear, data-informed product vision that guides cross-functional teams through periods of rapid change and opportunity. You will manage complex trade-offs between speed, quality, and business outcomes to ensure sustainable and measurable progress. What you'll do
Define and articulate a long-term product vision that directly drives consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement for ClassPass.
Translate that vision into a clear and actionable multi-quarter roadmap that aligns engineering, design, marketing, and business teams around a shared objective.
Synthesize user insights, business metrics, and marketplace trends to form testable hypotheses and refine existing products over time.
Ship features early and often, prioritizing simplicity for customers while actively avoiding unnecessary complexity in workflows and experiences.
Collaborate with external businesses and studio partners to refine marketplace experiences and ensure offerings meet real demand and user expectations.
Define detailed requirements and prioritize work using value and effort frameworks to maximize impact and optimize resource allocation.
Manage the full product lifecycle from initial discovery and concept exploration through successful launch and ongoing optimization based on feedback.
Utilize tools such as Notion, Confluence, and Jira to maintain clarity, transparency, and alignment across all stages of product development.
Champion a user-centric approach by consistently combining customer insights, behavioral data, and market trends in every strategic decision.
Stay current with new and evolving technologies, ensuring implementations remain thoughtful, scalable, and technically sound within the existing architecture.
Own the product roadmap end-to-end and work closely with engineering and business partners to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
Foster a product culture that values continuous iteration, open collaboration, and candid feedback across the entire team.
Mentor other product managers by providing guidance, best practices, and support to help the team deliver measurable impact over time.
Balance innovation with pragmatism, shipping solutions that are viable and feasible while maintaining a focus on simplicity for end users.
Ensure all product decisions are backed by a combination of qualitative context and quantitative evidence to validate direction and success.
