Position Overview

This Senior Information Architect role is centered on designing, developing, and maintaining data models that serve complex business demands. The position is responsible for establishing foundational data modeling standards and techniques from the outset. The primary technical platform for these efforts is Databricks Lakehouse. The role also manages integrations with Snowflake and MongoDB to address specific analytical and operational requirements.

The position is critical for building enterprise data architecture capabilities within areas where mature standards are not yet established. Success requires extensive collaboration with business stakeholders. Key partners include teams in Fund Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Sales, and Investments. The architect will translate business questions into structured information designs, shaping the enterprise data landscape. This work supports analytics, governance, and operational data needs across environments, including Azure and other modern data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Information Architect will design scalable data structures to power analytics and reporting for a large portfolio exceeding $35B in value. These models cover real estate equity, infrastructure, and private credit investments. The role defines modeling approaches and manages detailed schemas used in reporting and operations.

A core function is to guide business stakeholders through requirements gathering sessions. This ensures data models accurately reflect the needs of Fund Accounting, FP&A, and Investor Relations. The architect will shape data practices across the Investments and Sales units. Models must align with governance standards and operational performance needs.

Coordination with Snowflake and MongoDB teams is essential. This work enables specific use cases while protecting the integrity of core platforms. The role supports analytics and reporting teams on Azure, ensuring data structures adapt to evolving ecosystem demands. Partners with Investments colleagues to clarify data needs and translate them into resilient information frameworks.

Maintaining documentation is a key duty. This documentation helps current and future teams understand models and their intended usage. The architect reviews model behavior and performance regularly. Designs are adjusted as business questions and portfolio needs change.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have direct experience crafting data models for analytics and operational reporting at scale. Proven experience with Databricks Lakehouse is required. Experience with Snowflake and MongoDB should exist in related contexts.

The role requires several years of experience handling complex requirements for investment, accounting, or financial teams. Strong skills in modeling techniques and standards are necessary. These skills are essential for building high-performance structures.

Compensation and Location

This position is based in Los Angeles, California. It is a full-time engagement. The base compensation for this role is $180,000.00. The role is designated for a candidate with 1.00 years of relevant experience.
