What you'll do

Design and develop responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and browsers.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into functional web applications, maintaining a strong focus on user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, implementing solutions to enhance functionality and performance.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating new tools and practices into the development process.
Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure data flow between the frontend and backend systems.
Contribute to the development of documentation for code, processes, and standards to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
Assist in the testing and quality assurance of applications, ensuring they meet the required specifications before deployment.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and knowledge in frontend development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.

Requirements

Proven experience as a UI-/Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks, ensuring applications are mobile-friendly and accessible.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, to manage code changes and collaborate with team members.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.

Nice to have

Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js or PHP, providing a more understanding of web application development.
Knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, enabling you to work closely with designers on user interface design.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies, contributing to the overall quality assurance of applications.

Skills & tools

Proficient in web development technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS to enhance styling capabilities.
Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt to streamline the development process.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into web applications.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure applications are usable for all users.
