About the role
You will own the delivery of finance transformation engagements for clients across industries, acting as a key driver in modernizing finance organizations. You will partner closely with CFOs and finance leadership to define and execute transformation roadmaps that align strategy with operational execution. In this role, you will lead cross-functional project teams responsible for operating model design, process optimization, and the implementation of digital solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders. This position requires a balance of hands-on delivery oversight and strategic client relationship development to ensure measurable business outcomes. You will mentor consultants and managers, elevating the quality of work and fostering a collaborative team environment. Your contributions will directly influence the evolution of finance functions, helping clients unlock efficiency, insight, and agility through structured transformation initiatives.

What you'll do
Lead workstreams or medium-to-large engagements focused on finance operating model design, process optimization, and digital enablement across all finance areas.
Serve as a trusted advisor to finance executives, helping define transformation roadmaps and deliver business outcomes.
Oversee day-to-day client delivery, including project planning, stakeholder management, and quality assurance.
Support design and implementation of digital enablers such as ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday), EPM tools, automation, and analytics solutions.
Manage and mentor consultants and managers, fostering skill development and strong team performance.
Collaborate across firm capabilities (e.g., digital, risk, change management) to deliver integrated, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Participate in business development efforts, including proposal creation, solution design, and client presentations.
Contribute to internal thought leadership, methodologies, and practice development initiatives.
Perform detailed diagnostic assessments of current finance processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain deep expertise in finance technologies, ensuring solutions are aligned with client strategic objectives.
Define and manage project scopes, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution within agreed parameters.
Champion continuous improvement by evaluating outcomes and refining methodologies based on implementation learnings.
Engage directly with senior finance leaders to understand organizational challenges and co-create tailored solutions.
Drive the adoption of best practices in finance transformation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging trends.
Act as a subject matter expert within the firm, contributing to the refinement of playbooks, templates, and implementation frameworks.
Requirements
You must possess a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, business transformation, finance, strategy, operations, and/or corporate finance.
You have demonstrated experience leading finance transformation, ERP/EPM, business transformation, operational improvement, or related consulting engagements within a consulting or professional services environment.
You hold a strong understanding of finance processes and the impact of technology on organizational performance.
You are capable of managing complex stakeholder landscapes and navigating enterprise-level decision-making processes.
You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality client deliverables while adhering to strict timelines and standards.
You are comfortable leading teams through ambiguity and driving change in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
You exhibit strong ownership of project outcomes, ensuring accountability at every stage of the engagement lifecycle.
You communicate effectively with executive-level audiences, translating technical concepts into strategic recommendations.
Nice to have
CPA, CFA, PMP, or other relevant professional certification.
Experience with ERP, EPM, planning, or finance technologies (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Workday, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI).
Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics, process mining, or digital finance technologies to improve finance processes or business operations.
Experience leading large-scale finance transformation programs involving shared services, global process standardization, post-merger integration, carve-outs, finance organization redesign, or enterprise planning.
