This work includes the preparation of 10K and 10Q filings along with S-1 and S-4 registration statements. You will coordinate directly with audit teams. Another key responsibility is serving as an expert on emerging accounting standards. You will lead process improvement initiatives and manage the implementation of necessary changes. Within your team, you will mentor managers and consultants. This involves acting as an ethical role model. You will foster professional development and provide actionable feedback. You are expected to lead internal projects aimed at improving firm performance. Finally, you will participate actively in recruiting new talent and building the firm's client base.
What you must bring to this position is a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. This background should span public accounting, advisory, consulting, or corporate finance roles. You must demonstrate at least two years of prior service within a Big 4 organization, such as Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC. Candidates who stand out possess specific advanced capabilities. You will have a strong track record building relationships with executive stakeholders. This includes Controllers, CAOs, CFOs, Audit Committees, Boards of Directors, and private equity sponsors. You have led large-scale accounting and advisory engagements before. This includes managing engagement economics, staffing, quality control, and delivery for multiple concurrent teams or projects. You have contributed to business development. This involves proposal support, identifying client expansion opportunities, networking, thought leadership, and generating referrals. You have experience developing other leaders. This includes mentoring managers and senior managers and contributing to hiring, performance management, and organizational initiatives. You advise clients on complex matters. This includes accounting, financial reporting, transactions, regulatory issues, and operational topics. You serve as a trusted advisor during major business turning points. There are additional qualifications that are highly valued. A CPA license in your jurisdiction is a significant asset. Experience with SEC reporting and IPO readiness is relevant. This includes work with registration statements and public company financial reporting. You have prepared or reviewed technical accounting memoranda. You advise on complex areas such as revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, stock-based compensation, and debt or equity transactions. You have supported major transactions. This includes IPOs, carve-outs, spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions, debt offerings, capital raises, and private equity-backed scenarios. What you'll do
Guide executive teams through intricate reporting choices and audit expectations in a variety of complex scenarios.
Orchestrate operational due diligence for major transactions, overseeing offerings, mergers, and acquisitions from initiation to closure.
Ensure all financial filings align precisely with SEC rules and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review critical documentation, including 10K, 10Q, S-1, and S-4 registration statements with meticulous accuracy.
Champion the adoption and technical implementation of new ASC accounting standards across client organizations.
Lead internal firm initiatives designed to enhance delivery quality, methodology, and practice management.
Identify opportunities to strengthen existing methodologies and improve advisory service frameworks.

Manage end-to-end engagement economics, including staffing, quality control, and delivery for multiple concurrent teams or projects.
Provide proactive guidance on debt raise activities and capital market transactions.
Ensure the preparation of precise financial and regulatory information that supports executive decision-making.
Act as an expert on emerging accounting standards and regulatory changes impacting client operations.
Requirements
You must bring over a decade of relevant experience in public accounting, advisory, consulting, or corporate finance roles to this position.
You must demonstrate at least two years of prior service within a Big 4 organization, such as Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC, proving your ability to operate at this level.
You possess a deep understanding of complex accounting matters and financial reporting within a demanding advisory context.
You have the capability to lead project teams and manage the full lifecycle of client engagements independently.
You can interface effectively with C-level executives, audit committees, and boards while maintaining professionalism.
You have a proven track record of business development, including proposal support and generating new client opportunities.
You are able to mentor and develop other professionals, including managers and senior managers, within a team environment.
You are authorized to advise on sensitive topics including regulatory compliance, SEC reporting, and intricate transaction structures.

Practical notes
The compensation package for this full-time role ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 annually.
