About the role
You will own the delivery of complex cybersecurity advisory programs for clients across diverse industries, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. You will partner directly with Audit Committees and Boards of Directors to provide strategic guidance that strengthens the overall resilience posture of each organization. You will leverage extensive hands-on experience to implement security controls within environments that include MDR, IAM, Network Security, and Cloud Deployments. You will translate technical security analysis into clear, actionable advice that addresses the specific needs of each client engagement. You will guide clients in the establishment, maintenance, and maturation of comprehensive cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. You will manage the design and delivery of cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives from initial design through full implementation. You will utilize your understanding of security events and penetration testing methodologies to provide credible risk management practices and robust risk registers. You will act as a trusted advisor, using strong interpersonal skills to navigate cross-cultural communications and manage expectations with confidence and clarity.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth cybersecurity maturity assessments and risk evaluations for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
Translate complex technical security concepts into clear, concise reports and strategic recommendations tailored for Audit Committees and Board of Directors.
Design, implement, and oversee security control frameworks within environments leveraging MDR, IAM, Network Security, and Cloud Deployments.
Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management practices, including the creation and governance of policies, procedures, and Risk Registers.
Provide strategic cybersecurity advisory services to guide clients in strengthening their resilience and meeting evolving regulatory requirements.
Manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity training and awareness programs, ensuring content is practical and implementation is effective across the organization.
Apply practical experience in system hardening, network design, and systems security to identify vulnerabilities and recommend robust solutions.
Utilize knowledge of security analysis and security events to investigate incidents and support the scoping and execution of penetration testing activities.
Act as a technical and strategic partner to clients, offering forward-thinking ideas that enhance the security posture and align with business objectives.
Champion the delivery of best-in-class advisory services by applying a hands-on, agile approach to solving complex and ambiguous security challenges.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, active listening, and the ability to manage upwards with confidence.
Leverage industry standards and frameworks to advise on governance, risk, and compliance matters relevant to the client's specific operating environment.
Support the continuous improvement of the firm's cybersecurity service offerings by incorporating feedback and identifying opportunities for innovation.
Demonstrate adaptability and decisiveness when confronting evolving threats and business disruptions, ensuring project delivery remains on track and impactful.
Requirements
You must possess practical, hands-on experience in implementing security controls within areas such as MDR, IAM, Network Security, and Cloud Deployments.
You must have a background in systems administration, systems engineering, or security analysis, providing a deep understanding of operating system hardening principles.
You must understand network design principles and systems security to effectively advise on infrastructure protection strategies.
You must be capable of guiding clients in the establishment of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures that are both robust and practical.
You must have experience managing cybersecurity training and awareness services from design through to full implementation and adoption.
You must have a solid understanding of security analysis, security events, and the methodologies involved in penetration testing.
You must have around 5 years' experience in technology and security related fields, serving as a key gauge of your professional maturity and readiness.
You must be able to demonstrate that your experience does not have to be purely cyber security consulting, valuing diverse backgrounds from in-house roles or GRC.
Nice to have
Industry certifications are preferred, but not required: CISSP, CISM, etc.
Technology specific qualifications in technology or security solutions.
