About the role

In this position, you will report directly to the Territorial Integration Pillar Coordinator of the FCC Project. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the territorial planning aspects and synergies associated with the project. You will play a vital role in coordinating thematic working groups that focus on surface site planning and related development projects, ensuring that the FCC project is well integrated into its host territories and supported by local stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional working groups that address various aspects of territorial planning, including architecture, infrastructure, and socio-economic issues, while facilitating communication among local committees for surface sites.
• Actively engage with local stakeholders, including public authorities and institutional partners, to gather insights on territorial planning priorities and opportunities, ensuring these are incorporated into the project's spatial planning and design.
• Identify and advocate for territorial development opportunities that arise from the FCC project, such as urban and economic development, in collaboration with local and regional authorities.
• Participate in managing the territorial planning workstream by contributing to project reviews, monitoring the master schedule, and preparing documentation for governance bodies.
• Create consolidated progress reports and assist in developing project monitoring tools, including indicators, risk assessments, and dashboards.
• Facilitate information sharing among territorial stakeholders and pinpoint issues that necessitate strategic decision-making.
• Support the development of territorial consultation and stakeholder engagement processes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Contribute to the identification and management of construction impact and integration challenges associated with major infrastructure developments.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or equivalent experience in Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, Political Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in managing territorial planning projects linked to significant infrastructure developments, with a focus on urban and landscape integration.
• Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate multi-stakeholder processes, particularly in contexts involving territorial consultation with institutional and local stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and supporting territorial development initiatives related to infrastructure projects, including the identification of development opportunities and fostering synergies with local stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management and the use of office software packages.
• Familiarity with spatial planning tools, procedures, and urban planning policies in France and/or Switzerland.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French.

• Knowledge of stakeholder engagement best practices and territorial consultation processes.
