About the role

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria
- By the application deadline, candidates must hold a PhD or be on track to obtain it within six months, with no more than six years of research experience post-PhD.
- Individuals who have previously held a CERN fellow or graduate contract are not eligible.
- Current CERN staff members are not permitted to apply for this Fellowship.
- This position is specifically for Experimental Physics; candidates in Applied Science and Engineering or Theoretical Physics should refer to other openings within the Research Fellowship Programme.

- An updated CV in either English or French.
- A copy of the most relevant diploma or a certificate of achievement from your university (if the diploma is not yet available).
- A one-page statement detailing research interests and plans for the fellowship, not exceeding 4,000 characters.
- Three recent letters of recommendation, dated within one year of the application deadline, highlighting academic and professional achievements along with the relationship to the referees. After submitting the application, a submission link will be provided for referees to confidentially upload their letters before the closing date.
