Requirements

• A strong background in experimental physics or a related field, demonstrated through previous research or academic work.
• Proven ability to engage in scientific discussions and knowledge sharing in a collaborative environment.
• Experience working effectively in international teams, showcasing adaptability and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and/or French, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.
• Must remain employed by a home institute located in a CERN Member or Associate Member State, excluding France, Italy, Germany, and Great Britain.
• Applicants must be below the CERN retirement age by the application deadline.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working in a research facility or a similar scientific environment.
• A track record of published research in reputable scientific journals.

Global Benefits

• A monthly subsistence allowance of 4384 Swiss Francs, which is tax-free.
• Provision for 2.5 days of authorized absences per month, provided the association contract lasts at least four months, along with two weeks of annual closure.
• Coverage for travel expenses to Geneva upon joining CERN, depending on individual circumstances.
• Opportunity to extend your contract for an additional six months as a corresponding associate.

• You must maintain employment with your home institute during your tenure at CERN, which should be located in a CERN Member or Associate Member State (excluding France, Italy, Germany, and Great Britain).
• Ensure you are below the CERN retirement age by the application deadline.
