About the role
You will manage the daily operational rhythm of our Blue Mound Inspection Center with a focus on discipline and execution. In this leadership capacity, you own the throughput and quality of vehicles moving through our facility. The role requires you to direct a large team to ensure every vehicle meets our strict quality and mechanical standards before they are listed for sale. You are responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment that adheres to company policies and safety protocols. This position demands a results-driven approach to production output, cost management, and continuous improvement. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving production bottlenecks and ensuring operational excellence. What you'll do
- Manage daily facility operations and oversee production capacity for all lines.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates.
- Recruit and onboard new staff while managing performance and succession planning.
- Execute strategic goals focused on quality, production output, and cost management.
- Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and loss prevention guidelines.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and solve production bottlenecks.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid unrestricted driver license with a clean record for the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently and walk up to 3 miles per shift.
- Capacity to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like reaching, stooping, and pushing.
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and vehicle maintenance odors.
- Must pass a background check as part of the employment process.
- Ability to wear required safety gear at all times during shifts.
- Compliance with all company policies and operational procedures is mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive motions required in an inspection environment.
