What you'll do
- Execute a strategic outreach plan to dealers via phone and internet to generate new buy and sell business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and effectively.
- Arrange and coordinate all travel and transportation logistics for clients in collaboration with the transportation department.
- Deliver comprehensive training to customers on the functionalities of ADESA.com and associated mobile tools.
- Maintain meticulous records by logging all sales activities and call volumes accurately within the company CRM system.
- Provide essential support during sale day operations, which includes block representation, real-time reporting, and display setup coordination.
- Function as the critical liaison facilitating communication and collaboration between clients, outside sales representatives, and auction staff.
- Analyze and monitor inventory exposure to implement strategies that maximize vehicle sales and marketability.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships through consistent follow-up and personalized service.
- Identify trends in dealer feedback to recommend improvements to auction processes and services.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to understand dealer needs and present tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures during every interaction.
Requirements
- Possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
- Hold a minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in customer service and office administration roles.
- Be at least 18 years of age to ensure legal compliance with employment regulations.
- Hold a valid driver license and demonstrate the ability to safely operate vehicle equipment when required.
- Exhibit proficiency in the English language with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate the physical capability to perform light to medium physical work as required by the role.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing the company.
- Show reliability and punctuality in meeting all scheduled shifts and commitments.
- Possess basic mathematical skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash transactions.
