What you'll do
- Execute comprehensive light maintenance procedures and fluid checks to verify mechanical soundness.
- Conduct meticulous quality inspections on vehicles to detect surface imperfections and potential repair needs.
- Utilize advanced inspection tools and state-of-the-art equipment available in high-tech Inspection Centers.
- Identify and document any defects or irregularities discovered during the inspection phase.
- Perform initial diagnostic evaluations to determine the scope of necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Apply light maintenance techniques to rectify minor issues identified during the inspection process.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure vehicles meet reconditioning standards before photography.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection findings and corrective actions taken on each vehicle.
- Contribute to a fast-paced production environment while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Support the overall vehicle reconditioning process to facilitate timely delivery to customers.
- Use safety equipment, including face shields, goggles, and non-slip footwear, to ensure personal safety.
- Lift vehicle components and tools weighing up to 60 pounds independently during inspections.
Requirements
- Must possess 1+ years of professional automotive repair experience to qualify for this role.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license for employment consideration.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including the capability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment without compromising accuracy.
- Willingness to sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions, including heat and cold, while working.
- Compliance with the use of required safety equipment, such as face shields, goggles, gloves, and protective garments.
- Some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check as part of the hiring process.
- Adherence to company safety standards and protocols while performing inspection duties.
- Capability to stand for extended periods while conducting thorough vehicle inspections.
- Attention to detail must be exceptional to identify subtle imperfections during the inspection phase.

- Preferred experience in brake and tire work or light maintenance roles.
- Familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicle inspection processes.
- Previous exposure to vehicle reconditioning or quality control environments.
- Possession of ASE certifications or completion of relevant training programs.
