What you'll do

• Utilize specialized equipment to repair wheels and rims that have sustained significant damage.
• Apply paint and clear-coat finishes to achieve a professional and high-quality appearance.
• Conduct thorough inspections of wheels and rims to assess damage and determine the best repair methods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating tools and equipment.
• Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in wheel and rim repair to enhance skills and service quality.

Requirements

• At least one year of hands-on experience in wheel or rim repair is required.
• Must be able to operate various vehicle equipment and tools, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license; some positions may necessitate a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Familiarity with personal protective equipment, including goggles, gloves, and non-slip footwear.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Additional experience in automotive repair tasks such as bodywork or painting would be advantageous.
• Certification in automotive repair or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in a high-volume repair shop is beneficial.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in the use of wheel repair machinery and automotive painting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report on repair progress.
