About the role
You will own the end-to-end product marketing strategy for CarGurus' consumer products, shaping how our solutions appear and perform across the entire consumer journey. This role requires you to translate complex data and consumer insights into clear strategy and action that directly influences the product roadmap. You will act as the primary advocate for the consumer, ensuring their voice is central to every product decision and go-to-market initiative. You will partner closely with Consumer Product, Marketing, and Engineering to build differentiated products that solve real customer problems. What you'll do
Define and refine the overarching consumer value proposition and product positioning for CarGurus across all touchpoints.
Own product marketing strategy for the consumer journey, including awareness, consideration, decision, purchase, engagement, and retention.
Partner with Consumer Product to influence the product roadmap using customer, competitive, and performance insights.
Represent the voice of the consumer by analyzing NPS and other customer insights to identify improvement opportunities.
Build and standardize GTM frameworks, playbooks, and experimentation processes for new products and feature changes.
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers, fostering a culture of high standards and low ego.
Synthesize complex data and research into clear narratives that drive alignment across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements
You must possess a bachelor's degree or higher, demonstrating advanced analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
You must have proven experience managing complex product marketing initiatives in a consumer-facing technology environment.
