About the role

Eucalyptus is looking for a Spanish-speaking Prescriber to join their team on a fully remote basis from Ireland. What you'll do

Conduct initial and follow-up patient consultations in Spanish to assess medical needs and treatment suitability

Review patient medical histories and current medications to identify potential interactions or contraindications

Develop individualized care plans that align with evidence-based prescribing guidelines and clinical best practices

Issue prescriptions for appropriate medications and communicate dosage instructions clearly to patients

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the Eucalyptus platform to coordinate patient care

Monitor patient responses to prescribed treatments and adjust medication plans as clinically indicated

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the company's electronic health record system

Ensure all prescribing activities comply with Irish medical regulations and relevant healthcare standards

Provide clinical guidance and support to patients regarding their medication regimens and expected outcomes

Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews to maintain quality of care across the platform

Stay current with medical research and clinical guidelines to ensure prescribing decisions reflect the latest evidence

Uphold patient confidentiality and data protection standards in all interactions and documentation within the platform

Requirements

Hold a recognized medical degree and be registered or eligible for registration as a prescriber in Ireland

Demonstrate fluent proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish for patient communication

Have a minimum of two years of clinical prescribing experience in a relevant healthcare setting

Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of patient care

Possess strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and common treatment protocols

Show ability to manage a caseload of patients efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Have excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery

Be willing to complete any required onboarding and compliance training provided by Eucalyptus

Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while staying connected with the Eucalyptus care team

Maintain professional indemnity insurance or be willing to obtain it as required for the role

Nice to have

Previous experience working with telehealth or digital health platforms is highly valued by the team

Familiarity with electronic prescribing systems and health information technology tools is beneficial for this role

Additional language skills beyond Spanish can be beneficial for serving diverse patient populations effectively
