Your work will use multiple architectures, including API-driven clients, microservice structures, event-driven integrations, cloud deployments, serverless applications, and web portals.
Position Responsibilities
Success in this role requires a specific set of actions and contributions. You will collaborate with team members and clients to deliver technical solutions that address client needs precisely. Creating quality deliverables is essential for communicating technical concepts to suitable audiences.
You must use CapTech's internal programs and self-directed training. This action ensures the continual development of industry-relevant knowledge and skills. Understanding and implementing object-oriented design patterns forms a core part of the technical expectations.
Effective communication is required with team members across varying technical expertise levels. Providing technical mentoring to colleagues is a standard duty. You will guide teammates with technical direction, constructive feedback, and hands-on coaching across junior and senior levels.
Your technical work will include implementing integrations among distributed services, data stores, and external platforms. Managing security and performance is integral to this responsibility. You will also coordinate with architects and clients to align solutions, clarify requirements, and adjust plans as products move toward production.
Reviewing work through constructive feedback, pairing sessions, and knowledge sharing upholds quality and team growth. Shipping reliable releases demands strict adherence to workflows. Documenting changes and communicating status to stakeholders at every phase is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft Stack or Java. Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs is required, including documentation with tools like Swagger or OpenAPI.
A strong background in database design and development is essential. This includes SQL Server and NoSQL technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Front-end development experience must involve JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue. Working knowledge of UI frameworks like Bootstrap is necessary.

Experience with a Varied AI Toolset, including Claude code, CodeX, Opencode, and OpenClaude, is mandatory. Preferred experience with AI orchestration methods is expected. You must apply these methods to control complex workflows across services.
Experience with source control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows is essential. You must handle multi-system integrations, distributed designs, and common enterprise integration hurdles. A solid understanding of application performance tuning, scalability, and optimization techniques is required.
You must communicate technical concepts, designs, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders without losing precision or context. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-documented code are non-negotiable.
