About the role
Canva is seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to lead creator partnerships across North America. This role centers on developing and executing influencer strategies that grow Canva's presence among content creators and their audiences. The manager will own the full lifecycle of influencer campaigns, from initial outreach and relationship building through campaign execution and performance reporting. You will work closely with internal marketing teams to ensure influencer activities align with Canva's broader product messaging and growth objectives in the North American market, and contribute to shaping the long-term influencer strategy for the region.

What you'll do
Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns across North America to support Canva's creator partnership goals.
Identify and evaluate content creators and influencers whose audience aligns with Canva's brand identity.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key influencers and creator communities throughout the region.
Coordinate campaign timelines, content deliverables, and posting schedules with external creator partners on a regular basis.
Track and report on campaign performance using engagement metrics, reach data, and conversion indicators.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop influencer strategies that support North American market growth.
Manage influencer contracts, negotiate partnership terms, and ensure all collaborations meet legal and brand standards.
Monitor social media trends and platform updates that influence creator marketing and audience behavior.
Support the development of creator-facing content guidelines and brand messaging for influencer-led campaigns.
Work with internal stakeholders to align influencer activities with broader product launches and marketing initiatives.
Organize and support influencer events and activations that strengthen Canva's visibility among creator communities.
Provide regular updates and strategic insights to leadership on influencer program results and new opportunities.
Evaluate new influencer platforms and emerging social channels for potential partnership opportunities and audience reach.
Document campaign processes and share learnings across the marketing team to improve future influencer programs.
Partner with the creative team to ensure influencer content reflects Canva's visual identity and brand guidelines.
Identify opportunities to amplify high-performing campaigns through additional creator partnerships and cross-platform promotion.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience managing influencer marketing campaigns, ideally within a B2C or creator economy environment.
Deep understanding of social media platforms, creator ecosystems, and current influencer marketing trends and dynamics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building trust with external partners and internal cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and deadlines.
Familiarity with social media analytics platforms and the ability to interpret performance data into actionable insights.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline.
Self-motivated professional who can work independently and take full ownership of influencer program outcomes.
Willingness to travel within North America for in-person meetings, creator visits, and industry events.
Experience with budgeting and forecasting for influencer marketing programs, including tracking spend against campaign goals.
Comfort with a fast-paced work environment and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
