About the role
The owns the end to end design of the digital suite that powers modern hotel operations worldwide. In this role, you will define the look and feel of critical tools used by hoteliers to manage reservations, service guests, and optimize revenue. You will translate complex hospitality workflows into clear, intuitive, and accessible digital experiences that reduce friction for both staff and guests. You will act as the primary advocate for the user, balancing operational constraints with delightful interactions that make hotel teams more efficient. Your work will directly influence how more than 20,000 hotels operate on a daily basis across over 100 countries. You will partner closely with AI specialists to ensure that artificial intelligence features are usable, trustworthy, and aligned with real world needs. This is a hands on role where your designs will be implemented, measured, and iterated upon in production environments.

What you'll do
- Own the complete design process for hotel tools used internationally, shaping digital products that help hotel teams serve guests more effectively each day.
- Design user flows for reservation systems and guest apps from initial brief through final delivery, working within hospitality-specific AI environments alongside major hotel groups.
- Coordinate with data teams to map information architecture before any interface decisions are made, ensuring that the structure supports complex hotel operations.
- Build interactive prototypes of hotel management dashboards that adapt to different user roles, such as front desk agents, revenue managers, and executives.
- Test concepts with hotel staff through interviews and usability sessions to validate usability and adjust interaction details early in the process.
- Translate business rules from sales contracts and enterprise agreements into clear, consistent product patterns that can be reused across the platform.
- Guide developers through design decisions via prototypes, specifications, and code reviews to ensure implementation aligns with user needs and brand standards.
- Review analytics dashboards and support tickets to identify pain points and inform the next iteration of the product with data driven insights.
- Partner with marketing teams on campaigns and customer stories that highlight the product experience to hoteliers during conferences and events.
- Maintain design documentation in a centralized system so that product updates, edge cases, and changes remain clear for the entire organization.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in product design for software, demonstrating a track record of shipping digital products.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of how guests move through hotel booking channels, including direct, online travel agencies, and third party distribution partners.
- Create design systems and component libraries that scale across multiple products and accommodate the needs of large global hotel groups.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with engineering and operations stakeholders, using structured arguments and evidence from research to support design decisions.
- Possess a proven portfolio that showcases impactful product design work, with case studies that explain your process and outcomes.
- Work comfortably in a fast paced, agile environment where requirements may shift based on market demands and hotel operator feedback.
- Apply structured problem solving skills to break down ambiguous challenges and define the right design questions to ask.
- Use inclusive design principles to ensure that tools are usable by diverse hotel staff across different regions, languages, and levels of technical proficiency.

- Experience in high volume hospitality environments such as large hotel groups, booking platforms, or property management system providers.
