About the role
You will own the end to end lifecycle of regional events and campaigns that establish Canary as the indispensable technology partner for hotels across EMEA and APAC. You will design and deploy integrated event strategies that align with product launches and customer success initiatives while ensuring every touchpoint reinforces our brand promise. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to convert event activity into measurable pipeline and retention outcomes. You will analyze performance data after every activation to refine messaging, audience targeting, and channel mix for continuous improvement. You will manage multiple stakeholders and timelines simultaneously to deliver flawless execution in fast paced and evolving market conditions. You will act as the regional voice of the brand, translating high level business goals into practical event tactics that resonate with hoteliers. You will prioritize opportunities that deliver the highest impact on brand awareness and demand generation within your assigned territories. You will champion experimentation with new event formats and channels to discover scalable methods for engaging our hotelier audience.

What you'll do
Develop comprehensive event strategies that support Canary's brand objectives and sales pipeline targets across EMEA and APAC regions.
Own the end to end planning and execution of conferences, roadshows, webinars, and meetups that deliver measurable business results.
Conduct deep research into local market trends, competitor event activity, and customer preferences to shape relevant and timely experiences.
Coordinate with cross functional partners to align event messaging with product positioning, customer success stories, and corporate narratives.
Build and maintain a regional vendor and partner network to ensure efficient event production and localized execution.
Create compelling content and materials tailored for diverse audiences, translating complex product features into clear guest value propositions.
Implement tracking mechanisms for every event touchpoint, enabling precise measurement of attendance, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Use insights from post event analysis to iterate on future campaigns, optimizing budget allocation and maximizing return on investment.
Represent Canary at key industry gatherings, strengthening relationships with influencers, analysts, and strategic partners.
Champion data driven decision making by integrating feedback loops and performance dashboards into ongoing event management processes.
Maintain a detailed repository of event learnings, assets, and contacts to inform future strategies and support organizational scaling.
Drive proactive outreach to prospects and customers, using event invitations and follow up sequences to nurture relationships over time.
Collaborate with product teams to gather input on feature enhancements and use cases observed during live event interactions.
Ensure all regional events adhere to brand guidelines, compliance standards, and quality benchmarks for consistent execution.
Requirements
You must have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
You must bring a minimum of five years of progressive experience in event marketing or demand generation within the technology or hospitality sectors.
You must have a proven track record of planning and executing successful events that generate pipeline and increase brand visibility.
You must be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.
You must demonstrate expertise in using event management platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
You must have experience analyzing campaign performance with a data driven mindset and translating insights into actionable plans.
You must be comfortable managing multiple projects, meeting strict deadlines, and maintaining attention to detail in dynamic environments.
You must possess strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
You must be willing to travel within the EMEA region to support key events and meet client expectations where necessary.
Nice to have
Experience in the hospitality technology sector is preferred.
Familiarity with Canary's product suite and hospitality specific AI concepts would be advantageous.
Knowledge of regional event trends and networks in EMEA and APAC is a plus.
Experience with video production, content creation, or storytelling for digital channels is valued.
Understanding of sales workflows and lead handoff processes is beneficial for aligning event outcomes with revenue goals.
Practical notes
This role requires travel within the EMEA region to attend and support key events.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of assignment without sponsorship.
