About the role
The is responsible for owning the end-to-end efficiency of the marketing function, ensuring that data and processes support high-impact campaigns from initial planning to execution. This role owns the marketing data strategy and tech stack, enabling targeted, personalized campaigns and robust performance reporting while balancing data requirements with operational efficiency. The hire will gather, clean, enrich, and integrate data from diverse sources into Hubspot, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all marketing systems. They will set up and manage the flow of data between Hubspot and other tools such as sales automation and ABM platforms to support timely actions and informed decisions. This position will identify relevant trends and performance drivers, providing analysis and recommendations to improve campaign results and optimize marketing investments. The role supports strategic projects including TAM identification, segmentation, and sales territory creation through data modeling and analysis. Additionally, the hire will maintain CRM data hygiene, workflow automations, and reporting dashboards for both marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment and visibility. The Marketing Operations Manager works closely with the broader go-to-market team, including Sales and Customer Success, to provide analysis that informs strategic decisions and drives revenue outcomes.

What you'll do
- Own the marketing data strategy and tech stack to enable targeted, personalized campaigns and performance reporting, balancing data requirements and efficiency
- Gather, clean, enrich, and integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, spreadsheets, analytics tools, and ad platforms into Hubspot, ensuring accuracy and consistency across marketing systems
- Set up and manage the flow of data between Hubspot and other tools, for example sales automation and ABM platforms, to support timely action and alignment across teams
- Research, vet, and manage data sources and tools to support programmatic campaign ideas and improve operational efficiency across marketing workflows
- Identify relevant trends and performance drivers, support the measurement of campaigns and experiments, and provide actionable recommendations to improve results over time
- Provide analysis to inform strategic projects, including TAM identification, segmentation, and sales territory creation, using data modeling and insights to guide go-to-market decisions
- Maintain CRM data hygiene, workflow automations, and reporting dashboards for marketing and sales to ensure data reliability and visibility into performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure marketing operations align with broader company objectives
- Drive process optimization and standardization across marketing operations to reduce manual effort and improve scalability as the team grows
- Partner with the analytics team to define key metrics, establish reporting frameworks, and ensure data integrity across all marketing touchpoints
- Support the implementation and configuration of marketing automation tools to streamline campaign execution and improve targeting precision
- Act as a subject matter expert on marketing data and operations, providing guidance and best practices to internal teams to enhance data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Typically, 4+ years of experience in data management, marketing/revenue operations, or a related field, preferably at a B2B SaaS early-stage startup with a track record of scaling marketing operations
- Expert, hands-on proficiency in Hubspot CRM, including automation, reporting, and data management capabilities to drive efficient workflows and accurate insights
- Working familiarity with technical integration options such as APIs and webhooks, with demonstrated collaboration with Engineering teams on integrations, automation, and data flows
- A curious, structured, and proactive mindset that thrives on bringing order to complexity and enabling data-driven marketing at scale across multiple channels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in reporting
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs
- Experience managing and improving data processes, including data cleaning, enrichment, and integration across tools used by marketing and sales
- Comfort with interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications that support marketing operations and analytics
