About the role
Bybit is seeking a hands-on HR practitioner to manage daily operations and shared services for our European entities. You will oversee the full employment lifecycle, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency across our growing network of EU talent hubs. This role requires a disciplined professional who can translate complex regulations into actionable processes for diverse teams. You will act as a strategic partner to management while maintaining meticulous records and standards. The position demands ownership of procedural excellence and a commitment to data-driven decision-making in HR. You will be responsible for driving consistency in practices across multiple countries without sacrificing local relevance. Success in this role will be measured by accurate execution, timely delivery, and the ability to mitigate people-related risks proactively.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to offboarding.
- Draft and issue employment contracts, salary adjustments, and termination paperwork.
- Apply local labor regulations regarding probation, working hours, leave, and notice periods across France, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Austria.
- Coordinate monthly payroll cycles with local third-party providers.
- Reconcile payroll provisions, including bonuses, commissions, unused leave, and employer-related costs.
- Maintain data integrity within HR and payroll systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff and management inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
- Assist with performance management, organizational restructuring, and employee relations.
- Update and maintain country-specific compliance checklists and documentation templates.
- Monitor changes in employment legislation across all assigned jurisdictions and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct audits of HR processes to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate cross-border talent moves and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Support the design and implementation of HR metrics and reporting for operational insights.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate cost allocation and budgeting for people-related expenses.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, or international HR generalist roles.
- Proven track record in HR operations across multiple EU jurisdictions.
- Practical expertise in employment law and administrative requirements across the EU and UK.
- Experience managing multi-country payroll coordination and working with external vendors.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing payroll accruals and cost reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of GDPR, audit standards, and HR data management.
- High level of numerical accuracy and organizational capability.
- Ability to manage independent workflows across multiple regions and strict deadlines.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

This role is based in Vienna, Austria, and requires on-site presence. The engagement is full-time, with standard working hours expected. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of HR
Europe and must be available to work from the Vienna location without the need for relocation support. Fluency in German and English is mandatory for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. There are no specific visa requirements outlined at this time, but candidates must be eligible to work in Austria under local regulations.
